Phetchaburi Rajabhat University Delegation Engages in Exchange at Qujing Normal University

On May 14th, a delegation from Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, including Vice President KITSADA TUNGCHAWAL and a party of five, visited Qujing Normal University for an exchange visit. Vice President Li Hongzhuan welcomed the guests in the third conference room, accompanied by the heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Foreign Languages, and faculty and students from the International College. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tong Pinsheng, the director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.

Vice President Li Hongzhuan extended a warm welcome to the Phetchaburi Rajabhat University delegation on behalf of Qujing Normal University. He outlined the university's educational philosophy, distinctive features, achievements, and international cooperation initiatives. He also highlighted recent progress in global competitiveness rankings and the publication of high-impact academic papers. Li expressed his hope that this exchange would enhance mutual understanding and lead to collaborative efforts in teaching, research, and student exchange, with the goal of leveraging each institution's strengths for mutual benefit.

Vice President KITSADA TUNGCHAWAL of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University thanked Qujing Normal University for the warm reception. He provided insights into Phetchaburi Rajabhat University's development, current status, and the academic progress of Qujing Normal University students studying in Thailand. He noted the significant growth and achievements of Qujing Normal University in recent years and looked forward to deepening exchanges in education, culture, and academia, leveraging the strengths of both institutions. He also extended a special invitation for Qujing Normal University to participate in the centennial celebration of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University in 2024.

During the meeting, both sides discussed potential collaborative projects. A current student from Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Zhou Fangyi, shared her experiences studying and living at Qujing Normal University.

Following the meeting, KITSADA TUNGCHAWAL and his team toured the campus, meeting with 25 Phetchaburi Rajabhat University students who are currently studying at Qujing Normal University, and inquired about their academic and living conditions.

This visit has further strengthened the relationship between the two universities, facilitated the exchange of information on talent development and faculty exchange, and laid a solid foundation for future substantive cooperation. (Photos and article by Zhang Yan)
