Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Delegation Visits Qujing Normal University

On the afternoon of March 19th, SunLei, Director of the International Department of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University from Thailand, visited Qujing Normal University to discuss collaborative projects between the two institutions. Professor Guo Lihong, a member of the university's party committee and vice president, attended the meeting, along with Deputy Director Dong Chuanbiao of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and Dean Song Fafu of the School of Foreign Languages. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tong Pinsheng, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.

During the meeting, Vice President Guo Lihong welcomed the representative from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University on behalf of Qujing Normal University, expressed gratitude for the efforts made in international cooperation and exchange, and hoped that both sides would strengthen their collaboration to implement the national strategy of "going global and bringing in the best," with the expectation of enhancing the university's international cooperation and exchange initiatives. The two parties held detailed discussions on master's and doctoral programs for teachers and students, introducing and aligning their respective academic disciplines and majors. Tong Pinsheng indicated that the high similarity between the two universities' programs could provide a broader platform for both institutions, laying the foundation for further construction and development. Song Fafu also expressed his hope that the cooperation between the two universities would extend further, creating a wider platform for teachers and students to strive and achieve. Finally, the two sides also exchanged views on the establishment of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs.

Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, located in the royal gardens of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is a national university that offers a comprehensive range of educational programs from secondary school to doctoral levels and is ranked as the top national royal university in Thailand. The university established a cooperative relationship with Qujing Normal University in 2021. Due to the pandemic, related cooperative projects had not yet been launched.
